Airfares to Faro

Airfares change by the day and sometimes by the hour so it is difficult to know when you have found a bargain. The best way is to shop around once you know your travel dates. Being flexible, travelling midweek from provincial airports for example, can help reduce costs.

Sometimes it is difficult to know just when you have found a bargain. I have found with some airlines they don't reduce prices for last minute bookings. Thomsonfly, for example, increase their prices as each seat is booked. But with Ryanair prices go up and down on a week to week basis sometimes.

My general rule of thumb is 'if it looks like a bargain take it there and then'. There are a few 'compare' websites that will cross check prices with the different airlines on that route. This saves you the hassle of visiting a number of different sites to find the cheapest option.

I generally use the Wegolo website. This site allows you to select a wide area to fly from eg the north of England as opposed to specifing a single airport. They charge a booking fee of around £5 but I find the amount of time and money saved makes it worthwhile. Be sure to uncheck the 'cancellation insurance' box if you do not require any.
