For me the journey began several years ago...sat in my office on a cold blustery winters day in northern England dreaming of sunnier climes I booked a family holiday, our first visit to the Spanish Algarve. The intention was to look for a prospective holiday home. Several visits later, having become enchanted, we bought a house, upped sticks and landed in Ayamonte. Moving to the area may not be your intention you may be simply coming on holiday. Or like many others you may have bought a holiday home in the town, on the beach at Isla Canela or on the golf courses of Costa Esuri.
